WCGB Field Trial Sub-committee are organising the following for 2009:

There will be Shotover Day in October in the Sussex area for those who already fulfil the basic requirements of a field trial dog but who may need to ‘tweak’ before the trialling season gets going. This is not for beginners. More information available later in the year from the Field Trial Secretary.

It is advisable that anyone attending these days and/or wishing to get in to competitive field work with their dogs read the Kennel Club ‘Field Trial Regulations’ booklet before they attend. (Available online or by phoning the Kennel Club – only £1.50).

3 FIELD TRIAL TRAINING DAY
For experienced handlers & triallers

Wednesday 14th October
At NORTHIAM, EAST SUSSEX
(By kind permission of the Longswood Shoot)
9.30 for 10am start
A chance for experienced handlers and dogs to brush up for field trials

Cost: £25 Members/£35 Non-Members
Maximum 6 dogs to maximise opportunities to runners. Preference to Members with Weimaraners.
Running orders and directions sent to successful applicants. Entries to be in by 1st October, 2009.
