WCGB Annual Awards - Trophies

Each year the Club presents the Annual Points Award Trophies at the A.G.M. The trophies have been presented to the Club by members over the years and are confined to Club Members.

TROPHY	WINNERS 2010
The Weimaraner of the Year Award presented by Mrs Diana Oldershaw, is given for the dog gaining most points in at least two disciplines from Field Trials, Working Trials, Showing, Obedience and Agility	Aschfahl Hegenmeister,JW
The Stud Dog Trophy presented by Mrs M. E. Holmes	Madreliath's Rommel for Parhelis
The Brood Bitch Trophy presented by an anonymous donor	Desjiem Dance Class
Titus Trophy presented by Mr & Mrs Trevor Horsefield for the dog gaining the most points for field work	Blenweim Sweet Lady of Bastillian
The Bruno Trophy presented by Mrs. Val O'Keefe for the dog gaining most points in Working Trials	Ivymoor Solid Gold
The Sea Lane Stroller Trophy presented by Mr & Mrs Hudson for the dog gaining the most points at Agility	Silver Myth, AWG
The Show Weimaraner of the Year Trophy presented by Mr & Mrs K.Hoekzema	Aschfahl Hegenmeister, JW
The Jack & Gwen Sowersby Memorial Trophy presented to the Best Newcomer	Callisae Mytee Majestic From being a few months old we began to train her to compete in working trials and she displayed potential and aptitude in all the disciplines of this sport. She excelled in nosework. She did well, and eventually she qualified CDx, UDx, and finally gained a certificate of merit in WD. During the first week of July of 2009, we entered Etta in Competitive Obedience, and she won out of beginners and would have competed in Novice and ‘A’ later this year. Unfortunately Etta suddenly collapsed and died later in July 2009. She was precious to us and she’ll always have her special place in our hearts.
