The Committee of the Weimaraner Club of Great Britain alone shall decide whose names are to be included in the annual list of judges and fulfilling any of the criteria does not guarantee inclusion in any part of the list.

 

JUDGES LIST A1 (Both Breed and Non-Breed Specialist)

 

Judges who have been approved by the Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates in the breed and who are also supported by the Club and have carried out the appointment.

JUDGES LIST A2 (Both Breed and Non-Breed Specialist)

 

Judges who fulfill all the requirements for the A3 list and who have been assessed in accordance with Kennel Club requirements and accepted by the Kennel Club for inclusion on an A2 list and have the support of the Club.

JUDGES LIST A3

(Breed Specialist)

Judges who are recommended by the Club as being suitable to award C.C.'s in the breed but are not, as yet, approved by the Kennel Club for inclusion on the A2 list. The requirements to be included on this list are as follows:

a) to have judged a minimum 'hands on' 200 dogs. (This is not the number of dogs entered in the classes but the number of dogs actually gone over, excluding repeat entry dogs.)

b) to have judged at least one Weimaraner Breed Open Show.

c) to have judged Weimaraners for a minimum of seven years over a wide geographical spread and to have the support of the Club.

d) to have bred and/or owned a minimum of three dogs when they obtained their first entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book (save in exceptional circumstances).

e) to have attended a seminar given by the Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the relevant examination on Kennel Club Regulations and Judging Procedures.

f1) to have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer on Conformation and Movement

f2) to have attended a Conformation and Movement 'Hands-on' Assessment conducted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the assessment.

g) to have attended at least one breed specific A3 seminar run in accordance with the relevant Kennel Club Code of Best Practice and passed an examination and assessment.

h) to have stewarded over a minimum of twelve days at shows.

The fulfilment of items (c) to (h) are mandatory and any applicant must meet the requirements of at least ONE of (a) and (b)

JUDGES LIST A3

(Non-Breed Specialist)

Judges who are recommended by the Club as being suitable to award C.C.'s in the breed but are not, as yet, approved by the Kennel Club for inclusion on the A2 list. The requirements to be included on this list are as follows:

a) to have had a minimum of seven years' judging experience in any one breed (to include five years in this breed) and have the support of the Club.

b) to have judged at one Weimaraner Breed Show.

c) to have judged a minimum 'hands-on' of 200 dogs in this breed.

d) to have awarded C.C.'sin at least one other breed

e) to have attended at least one breed specific A3 judging seminar run in accordance with the relevant Kennel Club Code of Best Practice and passed an examination and assessment.

f) to have bred and/owned a minimum of three dogs of any breed when they obtained their first entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book (save in exceptional circumstances).

Note: Judges already approved to award Challenge Certificates by the Kennel Club in other gundog breeds may not be expected to fulfil these minimum requirements.

JUDGES LIST B

(Breed Specialist)

Judges who would be recommended by the Club to judge breed classes at Open and Limited shows. Requirements to be included on this list are as follows::

a) to have judged breed classes at a minimum of two Open or Limited Shows over a reasonable geographical spread.

b) to have judged a minimum of 35 dogs (hands-on) over a period of three years.

c) to have five years experience owning and exhibiting in this breed and have the support of the Club.

d) to have attended at least one breed specific judging seminar and passed an assessment where applicable.

JUDGES LIST B

(Non-Breed Specialist)

Judges who would be recommended by the Club to judge breed classes at Open and Limited shows. Requirements to be included on this list are as follows::

a) to have judged breed classes at a minimum of two Open or Limited Shows over a reasonable geographical spread.

b) to have judged a minimum of 35 dogs (hands-on) over a period of three years.

c) to have five years judging experience in this breed and have the support of the Club.

d) to have attended at least one breed judging seminar and passed an assessment where applicable.

JUDGES LIST C

(Breed Specialist)

Judges not eligible for A1,A2,A3 or B lists. Requirements to be included on this list are as follows::

a) to haveowned and/or bred Weimaraners

b) for aspirant judges who have shown an interest in the breed and have the support of the Club.

 

JUDGES LIST C

(Non-Breed Specialist)

Judges not eligible for A1,A2,A3 or B lists. Requirements to be included on this list are as follows::

For aspirant judges who have shown an interest in the breed, to have the support of the Club and to have judged another gundog breed.
